cron stopped working after upgrade to 3.4.7
February 15, 2012, 02:50:12 pm
Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded to 3.4.7 - so far so good (better!)  :D

One problem I am haaving is that my cron scripts stopped working since the upgrade. I am on a Plesk server. Here are my two cron commands which are not working at all anymore since the upgrade. They worked fine before the upgrade.

cd /path/to/sites/all/modules/civicrm;nice -n19 /usr/bin/php bin/EmailProcessor.php -ssite -uusername -ppassword
cd /path/to/sites/all/modules/civicrm;nice -n19 /usr/bin/php bin/civimail.cronjob.php -ssite -uusername -ppassword

When I run these two commands manually, nothing happens visibly and there is no change. Mailings are not sent and bounces are not processed.

When I run via the url method it works.

I'd rather do it the above way - is there something I am missing? something changed? I did review the installation guide and have not identified anything that needed changing between these versions.

Thanks for any help!

Tobias

Those files should not have changed. Can you run them via ssh and look for an error message?
