Getting a

'Finished execution of Bounces fetcher with result: Failure, Error message: Process Bounces failed'

error now that I have installed 4.1

Everything worked in 4.0.7, and the civimail cron is working properly. I see an issue has been filed at:
http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-9679

Is there any progress being made on it?

Any ideas? Where can I find more information on what is causing this error? CiviCRM is processing the mail, as it is moving it from my inbox and giving it the processed label inside my gmail account.

Awesome. Works great. I didn't actually notice the fix the first time I looked at the Issue Tracker - still learning how to use that.

May have jumped the gun on that one. Now I am getting the following status:

Full message:
Finished execution of Bounces fetcher with result: Success (a:0:{})

and e-mails are being moved into the processed box of my e-mail account, but no replies are being tracked and no replies are being forwarded.

I have the same problem. The bounce messages are moved to "processed" folder but no noreply are tracked, no contact is marked as 'on hold'

There is a patch for this - see earlier reply in this thread for the link.

Hmm. I tried the patch on 4.1 with no luck. Then tried upgrading to 4.1.1 and am still getting the following:

In either case, messages get moved to the processed folder, but no contacts are updated to reflect that the bounce has occurred.

There is another patch - fixed in 4.1.2 I think.

Thanks bpmccain, I did try the CRM-9796.patch, but had the same results. Looks like I also missed those changes to Mailing.php and utils.php the first time around.
