BillingState Field needed for SagePay

Hi,

We have an event that is open to all our offices around the world. We have an event setup and they book their rooms through the event pages. Unfortunately anyone form the USA is getting an error (we use SagePay):

3147 : The BillingState field is required.

This field needs to be the State code i.e. AK rather than Arkansas.

I have checked forums, looked at civi address options, but can't find anyway around this please help  :'(

Seems like this is an issue with the sagepay payment processor code and not with core civicrm. Might want to contact the author of that payment processor
