Incorrect participant status for events requiring approval
February 21, 2012, 07:16:53 am
I've just upgraded to 4.1 and am having problems with an existing event, as described in this post for 4.1 Release Testing:
http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,23308.0.html
(I can't continue the thread there as it doesn't give me the option to reply)

So when someone applies to register for the event, they get sent an email based on the message template Events - Registration Confirmation and Receipt (on-line) and their status is updated to Registered, whereas it should be Awaiting Approval. Previously, an email based on the message template Events - Registration Confirmation Invite was sent out.

I can adjust the message template to make it more suitable, but I can only change the status back manually.

Anyone know if this can be fixed? ???
