Cannot add an event in Drupal
February 27, 2012, 01:45:27 am
I am testing Civicrm 4.1 on Drupal 7. Everything works fine. I added a event template.
When I try to add an event (with any template) and fill in the info, I get this "/civicrm/event/add" could not be found.
when I click on continue.

I have searched through the forum but can't find any help. I am running a localized French version.
Is this a topic for Using Event or Drupal?

Any help would be welcome.
Thanks.

Hi,

You have clean urls enabled and civievent component enabled I presume?

Try rebuilding the menu,
http://yoursite.org/civicrm/menu/rebuild&reset=1

See if it helps

Thanks for your quick reaction.
I do have clear urls and just did the menu rebuild again. I did a clean caches and cron, no difference.

In the Drupal report I get a 403 missing page error and this
civicrm/event/add?reset=1&action=add&template_id=5.

What do you get on civicrm/event/add?reset=1 ?

It goest to add event
Then when I choose an event type from the template it goes to
civicrm/event/add?reset=1&template_id=[#number]

I fill it in, then I get the error message saying it can't find the page ("/civicrm/event/add" could not be found)

Sounds odd. If the URL civicrm/event/add?reset=1 works then the URL civicrm/event/add?reset=1&template_id=[#number] should also work.

When you go from the first to the second, does the base domain name stay the exact same? I meaning does everything in the URL before civicrm/event match precisely?

Odd indeed
