email confirmation for recurring donations

Is there a way to send an e-mail confirmation at the initial sign-up for recurring donations? Right now it looks like you only get emailed once authorize.net hits the card, but I'd like to send out a "Thanks for signing up for recurring donations" e-mail before that.

I solved this by adding CRM_Contribute_BAO_ContributionPage::recurringNofify() to the doRecurPayment() function for AuthorizeNet. Seems like this should already be there.. I also had to change recurringNofify() to allow for bcc.
