Page Not Found when accessing /install/index.php
February 28, 2012, 10:31:04 am
I have successfully installed CiviCRM with no problem on a server where I have installed Drupal myself.

I am trying to install CiviCRM on a Drupal site that was done with Fantastico.  I have copied the civicrm files up to the sites/all/modules/ directory.  When I try to access the index.php file under the install directory, I get a Page Not Found.

If I try to access error.html in the same directory, I don't have a problem.  This makes me assume that there is some htaccess line or other config that is overriding on .php pages.

Does anyone have ideas or recommendations on what to modify or include into a local .htaccess file to resolve this?

I would suggest you temporarily replace the .htaccess with the one that ships with Drupal and see what happens. If not, then I would ask your host for assistance.
