Can't run cron
March 01, 2012, 08:24:32 pm
I'm running 4.1.1 on drupal 6. I have had no luck getting the master cron job to run, and I notice a fair number of issues in the forum on similar topics. Tonight I upgraded to 4.1.1 to see if anything was better. Now, when running it manually form the command line, I get this:

Site off-line

The site is currently not available due to technical problems. Please try again later. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are the maintainer of this site, please check your database settings in the
settings.php
file and ensure that your hosting provider's database server is running. For more help, see the handbook, or contact your hosting provider.

The drupal site is in online mode, so I'm not sure where this is coming from.

Any ideas?
