Hello,

we are suffering extremely of this bug in 4.0.7:
http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-1872

In the current stable release 4.1.1 this bug is resolved.

Can someone please tell me what Files/Parts of the code I would need to replace in our current 4.0.7 install, so there are no past goups included in contact exports?

We need to match member dues of a old system based on those groups and the deadline is getting really close.

I appreciate any help.

PS: Due to time constraints and many customizations, we can't just upgrade to 4.1.1 for now.

In general if you find the relevant issue (which u did), u can click on the source column and see what files changed with regard to this issue. we try to be pretty good with ensuring that most bug-fix commits are tagged with their issue number
