New Member set to pending instead of new

Hi,
We recently updated civi to 3.4. Since that time, new members who sign up online by credit card are considered "pending." This means that the new member does not receive a receipt.

The contribution also is entered as pending even though the credit card is processed. These are recurring contributions and we use payjunction as the payment processor. The recurring payments are also processed.

Are you able to upgrade to 4.1 - you'll get better responses on the forum if using the latest version

Hello Liz,

Eileen makes a good point. However, let's see what's up with this issue. I hate to answer a question with another question(s), but here goes.

1. Are you able to manually change the membership status via status overriide on the edit membership page?
   a. If so, does it then send the receipt?
   b. If not, will it send the receipt if you check send conformation receipt on the edit membership page?

If you found a fix, please post it for posterity.
