Memory Error. Not sure how to solve
March 06, 2012, 08:02:41 am
Hi,

I'm getting the following error from any front end  CiviCRM page I have on my front end:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/caprod/crucialarts.org/templates/rt_quantive_j15/features/styledeclaration.php(1) : eval()'d code on line 1

What does it mean?  Any idea how to fix it?

All help is appreciated.

I have Joomla 1.5.24 and CiviCRM 3.4.4 hosted by Dreamhost.com's free shared NFP account.

Thanks,
CiviRocks!

Hi, I figured this out thanks to a recent (Feb. 12 post. Thanks Hershel) that I hadn't seen before I made my post.  I'll check with Dreamhost.....

Thanks!

Problem solved. Dreamhost sent me a php.ini script to install on the domain and edit.  It worked.

Just a note on this - we recently had a customer with a reasonable amount of memory with a lot of out of memory. We found the fix in the localisation settings - they had selected states from all countries & they were being loaded every page load. The countries are also loaded on page load (& stored to session table?) so it's probably better to keep them down but there aren't as many of them.

Can you post the php.ini script here? I'm on the Dreamhost NFP plan too and have the same issue.

Thanks
