Authorize.net Recurring Receipt does not include Billing Name and Address
March 06, 2012, 10:33:03 am
We have a contribution page that allows recurring contributions through the "Automatically renew this membership" option. It works just fine.

When an email receipt is sent for a non-recurring donation through this form, the billing name and address is included. When an email receipt is sent for a recurring donation, the billing name and address are not included. This is confusing for some of my users who are BCC'd on these receipts and would like to be able to see who the donations are coming from (without logging in to CiviCRM), for both non-recurring and recurring donations.

I've tried editing the receipt template to change the conditions for the billing address to be shown. Can anybody point me as to what I should be looking to edit to make this work? Thanks much.

I actually having a related issue.

I found the email confirmation template under front-end Administer > Communications > Message Template > System Workflow Messages > "Contributions Receipt (On-line)". Here you can customize the email template that goes out to both types of payments. (Make sure you update the HTML one if you are sending both.

The code block you need to look under is above the "Billing Name and Address" area. You will need to modify the logic to make it true for both types of emails. I did this and the receipts went out with the correct block displaying. However, the Billing Name and Address data was empty in the actual emails we sent out.

Does anyone know why it is not inserting the Billing token data? I would like to send them confirmation of what they inserted into the form upon submission.
