Joomla Install on Windows XP Server
March 07, 2012, 08:30:18 am
Hi:

I've worked with my IT guy to get a Joomla install running on our local LAN using Xampp on a windows server with the goal of solely running CiviCRM from that Joomla install (and simply using Joomla as a place to host the CiviCRM component). From what I can tell, Joomla works perfectly from other computers on the LAN, but the CiviCRM component loads very, very slowly and then is missing key pieces (such as the toolbar and dashboard reports) when it does load. What could be the problem here? Is there an easy fix, I hope?

Thanks

Kurund Jalmi

Looks like a problem with your resource url, can you make sure you have correct resource url.

Check http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org/administrator/?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/admin/setting/url&reset=1
