Wordpress login - direct to Civicrm - how?
March 10, 2012, 10:13:54 pm
I would like my users, after they have logged in to WP, to be taken directly to the Civicrm home page.  Instead, they go to the WP Dashboard which is a pretty unfriendly and unnecessary screen for the user.

Does anyone know who how users can be taken directly to Civicrm after WP login?

Answering your own posts is best  :)
In this case the answer is here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/peters-login-redirect/  which is a WP login redirect.

Now I have to see if I can remove that WP Dashboard that still shows up...

Did you find a way to hide the WP Dashboard?

No, I didn't manage to hide the dashboard - at least I still had that long thin screen on the left which was OK because it allowed the users to go and amend their details.  But I switched to Drupal and don't have that problem anymore.
