Send email option puts cc: into to: in 4.1.0

When using the Send Email to Contacts option in 4.1.0 it places the cc: people in the to: field as well.  Most of the time this is not an issue - it just caused some confusion when we recently emailed some engaged couples and it looked like we were partnering individuals who weren't partners! :)

Might this be altered in 4.1.1/2 so that it's back to normal?

unfortunately its always been this way due to an issue with the underlying mail library we use.

this is not likely to be fixed till we switch to a new framework / library
