Conditional Price Sets & Multiple event registration

I am organising a Festival that consists of 40 events.
The registration fee for the fest is $300 in which student can participate for 3 events. For any extra event he/she registers, $50 should be charged extra.

Also when the student selects the Accommodation option to "Yes" (Custom Field Set), he/she should be able to select a list of dates (4 days - checkboxes) and selecting each checkbox should add $40 to his cart.

Can this be achieved without customizing the code? If yes, how? Can anyone provide me links to documentation available for it?
Also has anyone been able to achieve this kind of registration?
