Changing Data Groups for Org Sub Types back to Org

I have 4 Organizational Sub-Types, with a custom field set for each.

I want to move all of the sub-typed Orgs back to "Organization" and have my field sets be linked to Organization. I can't change that in the UI.

How can I accomplish on CiviCRM 3.4.8?

You will need to do this directly in the DB

make sure u do a backup before messing around with the DB :)

when done, truncate civicrm_cache so civi rebuilds the various entries from the new information
