WordPress integration - acting as an account manager?
March 17, 2012, 11:49:24 am
Hi,

I've search high and low for a WordPress plugin that would do something fairly simple:

Essentially we'll be selling digital goods but we need a system that would allow users/members to act as both buyers and sellers on the site. Users who act solely as buyers would be able to make deposits into their accounts and buy digital goods with that credit.

Users who act solely as sellers, would be able to accumulate money in their accounts, and cash out weekly/monthly or based on amount earned.

Users who act as both buyers and sellers would be able to purchase products using nothing more than their account balance whether it comes from sales or from cash deposits.

So I'm wondering if CiviMember could be adapted for something like this?

If not, any other ideas for available plugins appreciated. Thank you.
JM

You would have to do quite some customization to get that sort of thing working. CiviCRM is a constituent relationship management tool, or a relationship management tool. I think you would be better off extending/customizing a werbshop type of application?
