Authorize.net Fee's Accounting
March 19, 2012, 01:38:38 pm
I can't figure out how to get the fee amount to work.  None of our online transactions are coming through with the fee's deducted.  Then we use the bookkeeping report to download into quickbooks.   Therefore we need the net fee in that report?  I would also like for the net fee to show up on everything over the total amount, as that is the actual amount we are receiving.  Any ideas?

I suspect two possible issues:

1. Auth.net is not sending back the net/fee amount. this seems a bit unlikely (or so we hope)

2. The Auth.net + civi payment processor is not mapping the returned values to the right civi fields. Check:

CRM/Core/Payment/AuthorizeNet.php, function doDirectPayment

Seems like we are not figuring and hence storing the fee_amount and net_amount

if you can investigate and figure out what fields they are that would be great :) Please do file an issue and submit a patch once u do so

thanx
