Not working with Internet Explorer
March 21, 2012, 01:26:02 pm
I've set up a CiviCRM database and really happy with the functionality. However, after working with it in Internet Explorer today. It has some major problems. First, contributions and memberships added in IE do not display in the contact record until after switching computers and/or restarting the computer of entry. Second, if I try to export a list of search results to a PDF letter (and likely labels, etc.), I cannot select fewer than everybody in the dataset. For example, a search returned 9 results. When trying to Print the PDF letter, it tried to make one for each of the 3300 records. This is probably just the tip of the iceberg. Is it possible to use CiviCRM in IE. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Can you try doing the exact same thing in firefox and/or chrome and see if it works fine. That way we have a better idea if its isolated to IE or across all browsers :)

Might also be worth to check on the latest version of IE

The community tends to have more firefox / chrome users and hence such things are not noticed frequently. Yes, we do know that IE still holds a large market share etc ...
