Can't create Events
March 24, 2012, 02:18:53 pm
Hey there!

I have Civicrm 4.1.1. on Joomla 2.5 and when I try to create an Event, I get  the following message:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access/administrator/on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can someone help me get around this? Everything works fine apart from this...

Thanks!

Look to see if when you click to that page you are losing or adding the www before your domain name.

Hello,

If I use the www. it will stay with the www.
If I don't, it'll add the www. to the url of the error message.

I don't understand... and I really need this option...

If you login without www and then it jumps to a URL with www, then you are no longer logged in, because these are considered different URLs. Try logging in with www.

Hello,

It still doesn't work... Could it be a server problem?

I contacted my host and it was a server configuration issue.

Problem solved!

Thanks!

Hi!

The reply I got was:

"Looking over this issue on my end it appears that your account was triggering certain mod_security rules which was causing these errors. I have now gone ahead and added some necessary rule exceptions to try and correct this issue."

Don't know if it helps...
