Profile Notification Emails Are Blank

Running CiviCRM 3.3.5 with Joomla 1.5.23 (I need to upgrade, I know).

Notifications for submitted profiles were working fine until this morning.  I'm still receiving them, but they're blank - nothing about the information that was submitted or any indication of who submitted the form.  Previous to today, everything was working fine.  This is true of all profiles.

Has anyone run into this before, and how was it solved?  Thanks in advance for your help!

Check and see the permissions on templates_c, ensure that the webserver has write access to those directories.

I set the permissions on joomlaroot/media/civicrm/templates_c and its subdirectories to 775 (owner and group writeable) but still have the problem. 

Any other ideas?  I'm not sure whether to pursue this as a Civi or webserver problem.
