Exporting Event and Member Dues Details
March 26, 2012, 07:53:44 am
Hello, my client has both membership fees and event fees that they need to get "detailed" accounting data for. For instance, when a member registers there are several options, such as state dues, national dues and lifetime membership dues. For events, the details are things like meal plan options and optional seminars.  They require that this data be exported so that they can see speciifically what a given person has paid for. For example, John Doe opted for Meal Plan B, paid for 2 guests and paid for 2 optional seminars. The same level of detail for membership dues.

The only results we can find in the reporting and search features aggregate the amounts so that John Doe paid $200, but does not show the detailed breakdown of what specifically was purchased. Surely there is a way to get this data out of the system. Am I missing something (hopefully)?

Drupal 7 + Civi 4.

Thanks.

Have you tried exporting participant data rather than contribution data?

Also it occurs to me you could make a custom report that has contribution AND event data in it, that might work.

Just an idea, hope this sends you on a good path.
