Civi 4.x, drupal and the included ckeditor / kcfinder script
March 27, 2012, 07:13:42 am
On the demo site of civi this works great but on the client site I get a 500 error.
The url it is going to is
http://example.com/sites/all/modules/contrib/civicrm/packages/kcfinder/browse.php?cms=civicrm&type=images&CKEditor=msg_html&CKEditorFuncNum=4&langCode=en

The Demo site uses this url
http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/sites/drupal.demo.civicrm.org/modules/civicrm/packages/kcfinder/browse.php?cms=civicrm&type=images&CKEditor=msg_html&CKEditorFuncNum=4&langCode=en

This is a fresh install and drupal works fine with it's editor and upload functions so just wondering if I missed something in the setup?

I did not see any info here
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC41/Drupal+installation+and+configuration+example
or
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC41/Drupal+Installation+Guide+for+CiviCRM+4.1+-+Drupal+7

And all the threads I see in the forums just seem to be about the old methods of setting this up.

The server is php 5.3

Thanks

Hershel

Check your server logs for the 500 error details.

Also, you put CiviCRM in sites/all/modules/contrib. Try putting it in sites/all/modules and see if that helps. But either reinstall or update your civicrm.settings.php file if you do this.
