Subscription Confirmation Request customized "FROM" email by group

Is it possible to customized the "FROM" email in the Subscription Confirmation Request automated message?  I would like some lists' automated messages to come from email addresses in my FROM EMAIL ADDRESS OPTIONS and other lists to come from the default email.

Currently no.

That part has not changed at all in the past few years. There have been quite a few requests to make it more customizable etc. So would be great if you or your org could help take the lead and help get some changes into core for this

in this case, design, publish and then when u have consensus implement the solution
