I feel like i must be missing something obvious.

I have a profile associated with an event.

The profile contains built in fields as well as custom fields - most of the custom fields are associated with a participant record. 

I see the fields when I register for the event, but when I look at the participant record, (by choosing view from the events tab), I don't see the field labels there, let alone the data.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?
