Google Apps Sending Limits

Just a quick question for the group at large.   I am SMTP'd to my Google Apps account through CiviMailer.

What is my daily send limit?  I am finding 2,000 per day here: http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=166852

Is that right? I had been hearing that it was like 400-500.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has any actual experience doing this.
