Department on contact details

 Hi , i have question : For the Crm on my office we need to have this style of hierarchy: state -> ambassy -> mission -> department.
1 .It's possible to have "Department" fields on the contact details
or it's obligatory ot use:
 sub groups , relations  types  or special fields
