Hi,

It seems that almost none of my users do customise it.

Was wondering if it would be easy to have site wide config, or an api to add stuff on it?

No.  Mostly users want to get straight to a common task such as search for a contact, enter a contact, start a civimail, etc.

A few of my clients use it. The majority do not.

Underutilised which may be our problem of not pushing it but not had many cases where it has seemed v useful

De Goede Woning use it, they have customised the sequence and selection of both cases and activities. I do not think any other of our customers use it.
