HELP! Corrupted Database!
February 19, 2008, 09:07:46 am
This happened to me in October and I posted about it: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,1598.msg6878.html#msg6878

After a few hours, it resolved itself, so I assumed it to be my host's database server problems.

This time it's been two days, and I'm getting no help from hosting support.

The site, http://www.fgmi.net displays the fatal error:

Code: [Select]
Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

Please review the CiviCRM Installation Guide and try searching the CiviCRM Mailing List Archives for information on the error below.

Database Error Code: Incorrect information in file: './*USERACCOUNT*/civicrm_domain.frm', 1033

Error Details:

[db_error: message="DB Error: unknown error" code=-1 mode=callback callback=CRM_Core_Error::handle prefix="" info="SELECT config_backend FROM civicrm_domain WHERE ( civicrm_domain.id = 1 ) [nativecode=1033 ** Incorrect information in file: './mustswa7_fgmicrm/civicrm_domain.frm']"]

PHPMyAdmin displays the database in a strange way: (http://www.mustbuilddigital.com/sites/mustbuilddigital.com/files/screen-capture-17.png)
Please help me with any suggestions you may have for restoring the health of this site!

THANK YOU ALL!

Dave Greenberg

Google search is your friend when dealing with mysterious errors. I searched on "mysql error Incorrect information in file" and came up with some potential things for you to investigate (most likely one being issue w/ access to the /tmp directory):
