No options for Event Contact Person

On my installation (Drupal 7.12, Civi 4.1.1) the collapsible "Event Details" fieldset has only a dropdown list with -select- and "Add Staff Name Here" which does nothing. (These should be text fields, notdropdown options anyway, I would think.)

On the demo installation here, the "Event Details" fieldset doesn't even appear. So there's no place for "Contact Person" info at all. I'm working with a Drupal 6 > 7 upgrade, which is perhaps why I see the fieldset; in any event, it looks like there's something funky here.

 "Event Details"  is probably a participant/contact profile that you created and use for your event.

You can configure profiles with range of in-built data and custom data to capture whatever information you want.

I've come across the same issue when creating my first Civi Event.

In the confirmation email that goes out to the registered attendee, there is an 'Event Contact' box above the 'contact email' and 'contact phone' that is blank and looks like it needs completing.  But in the 'Event location' screen where the other info is added, there doesn't appear to be a place for me to enter either a contact or a profile.

It's probably something fairly obvious - it's very early days between me and Civi!

Event contact person can be found at the custom data. (civicrm/admin/custom/group?reset=1)
You can disable this feature here also.
