Creating and Linking Fields in more than one Custom Field Set.
April 05, 2012, 09:47:12 am
I am currently working on a setup for constituent management in a civicrm install....and i am faced with a specific situation that requires some assistance.
Is it possible to Link fields from one custom field set with fields in another custom field set such that if the information in a field in one field set is modified it is reflected in the linked field in the other field set ????

Depending on how complex the link is, you can potentially do it via jQuery and/or hooks

Could you expand on how that would be accomplished.....
And is it to say that that cannot be done using what is provided out of the box with the Civicrm feature set
