On a current wordpress install, and also repeated on the demo at http://wordpress.demo.civicrm.org/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/event/register&reset=1&id=3 (after tinkering with localisation settings to make more countries available) when including a profile in the event registration form that includes country and state fields, it all looks fine when first displayed, with the default country shown and the list of states/provinces as expected.

But if you change the country the state/province field is not populated with a list of states. Instead it just gets emptied. And no amount of re-selection of country is helpful. I've only tried it so far with a profile embedded in an event registration form. It may or may not work with lone profiles and memberships/contributions. Anyone had this work as expected?
