High Availability Drupal/CiviCRM host?
April 12, 2012, 11:25:59 pm
Hello all,

I'm looking for any feedback on hosting providers for high availability/large Drupal/Civi sites. Looking specifically for 16x7 or 24x7 live support, and specific drupal skills, with techs that can get their hands dirty. We are running a Pantheon/Mercury instance. We're hosted on Linode right now, and while there have not been any real technical issues, we need a provider that specializes in Drupal - and can be surrogate SysAdmin for us (as we are NOT!)

So far I'm looking at:

Drupion
GetPantheon
Aquia

Any actual experience/references would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
~Bryan

Pantheon is excellent for normal drupal hosting, but I haven't been able to install CiviCRM on it. Their support team says it is not officially supported.

dwwhit-

Thanks for the reply... Question - when you say "Pantheon" are you referring to the Mercury/Pantheon distro of Drupal, or the specific hosting provider "GetPantheon.com?"

Reason I ask is that we are running CiviCRM 3.3/Drupal6 on a Pantheon distro on Linode right now without issues.

Thank you!
~Bryan
