CiviCRM - back end to front end
April 15, 2012, 01:20:25 pm
Hello  :)
Last years at college need to do graduating project ;] Need some help about Joomla front end.
I am trying to make all CiviCRM back end functions available at front end. I made a Menu item with specific CiviCRM component link, but i get fallowing error when i press that link

The requested Profile (gid=) is disabled, OR there is no Profile with that ID, OR a valid 'gid=' integer value is missing from the URL
You may not be able to visit this page because of:
an out-of-date bookmark/favourite
a search engine that has an out-of-date listing for this site
a mistyped address
you have no access to this page
The requested resource was not found.
An error has occurred while processing your request.

Well i think that this is a problem with access. I changed Joomla access control in CiviCRM Administer -> allow all...
I don't get it, what is that Profile (gid=) i need to do something with Profiles but i am kind a new in this thing so don't know what to do :(
I have read that Joomla works with CiviCRM just in back end, but this was in later versions, i can make Menu items with specific Civi components so in 4.1.1 version should be possible to make Civi on front end. Or i am wrong about that and need to go work on Drupal.
