Very Strange Behavior with Profile Forms
April 19, 2012, 08:49:24 am
I have a Drupal 6 + CiviCRM 3.2.3 working for a long time but now it seems that when anonymous users fill out a form with a specific profile (i.e gid=32) somehow it updates a different profile (gid=36). ??? This happens only sometimes so I have not been able to replicate this but it happens every once in a while.

I checked the forum and I do have a user id = 0 on my Drupal table so I am out of ideas about how to solve this mystery.

Any pointers would be great.

hey andres:

do anon users also access and fill out gid=36?

do they do the two profiles from the same browser?

if so, might be a session issue? taking a wild wild wild guess here

Lobo... thanks for the Reply... nope I was on the phone with someone that have never used our site (new customer)...

He filled the form with gid=32 and CiviCRM added him to the profile (and group) related to gid=36.

On the CiviCRM contact page for this person, the custom fields from gid=32 were blank, and the contact information (email/address/phone) was the only thing displaying (common fields)...  the person was also assigned to the group from the profile gid=36

This happened more than once (like 10% of the time), and in different order with different profiles/groups ??? I am not sure how to re-create this.

Can this be related to a Drupal cache? Not sure how this can happen at all? This site has been working fine for years and I just noticed this behavior this week.
