Defining sub-type during creation
April 19, 2012, 09:12:08 am
Is there a way to set the default organization sub-type during creation of an organization on a sign-up  contribution page with "on behalf of" so any custom fields assigned to sub-type are available? i.e. During membership sign up a sub-type of organization is created instead of parent type "organization" when using the "on behalf of" option.

I do not think you can do this without customization

Thanks, seems like if you can set this upon creation on the back-end, wouldn't you want to same functionality on the front-end?

OK, let me make myself a little clearer  ;D

I do think your point would make sense, I do not think it works that way right now....but that might be my lack of knowledge!
