ACL and set of custom data
April 20, 2012, 08:37:38 am
We have follow the steps described in http://civicactions.com/blog/2011/feb/18/civicrm_access_control_acls_demystified to control the access to some set of custom data attached to contacts.

But it appear that our defined ACL setup didn't have any effects. Do this apply only to custom data attached to contact entity?

It appear that the Drupal permission ''Edit all Contacts" seems to override the ACL... is that the normal behavior ?

Greetings

Might help to post a comment on that blog post and see if gregory and/or the civicactions group might be able to help out and get u going

i'm pretty sure the access control for custom groups is across all custom groups and not contact-specific custom groups only

I dont think "edit all contacts" influences the custom group stuff. I think "access all custom data" overrides any ACL for custom groups

We've found the solution to our trouble which was obvious: remove the 'administer CiviCRM' Drupal Permission to the concerned role  :-\. Sorry for any noise this could make...
