Multi-currency

Hello
I am trying CiviCRM, to see if it can handle payments from countries with different currency. I made at standard installation with Drupal The "new contribution" has a field where donor can set currency,  but when I look at contribution reports the figures are just summed up in $.  I can not find a way to see what has come in in different currencies.
Do i miss some modules ore settings somewhere
Civi looks very nice so I hope you can help me to make it run multi currencies

We use this on civicrm.org and pretty sure it works :)

Make sure you have all the currencies you want selected in the localization admin screen

well my settings are very close to the demo site. In the Demo I tried to make 'Adams, Fraddie' ad €12345 and the 'Contribution Detail Report' makes the same mistake
