CKEditor and broken URLs
April 23, 2012, 09:43:25 am
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - I've hunted around but couldn't find anything that addressed this issue:

I've recently set up a site to use the Drupal CKEditor, and have followed guidelines elsewhere on this forum about how to do that, and to be able to upload/browse files/images. All seemed to be going beautifully, then we did a mailing and found that the editor was breaking the URLs - taking the ampersands, escaping them to & and then adding a %B7 or similar. Result: any embedded links in the email aimed at page with an ampersand in the URL was unreachable. Switching the CKEditor back to using CiviCRM's own implementation and the problem went away.
Any ideas as to where this is going awry?

Thanks
Graham

Are you using the Pathologic module?  I'm having a similar problem using TinyMCE and Pathologic 6.x-3.4.  I believe the problem is with Pathologic as described in this issue: http://drupal.org/node/1303782.  I added the patch provided in http://drupal.org/node/1303782#comment-5128296 and it seems to have fixed the problem for me.
