Slightly Dormant Users Erased?
April 23, 2012, 06:35:03 pm
I created an account 2009-03-18 and had a few posts. I visited a bit, but didn’t log in regularly.  There must have been a purge of people who seemed to be gone, along with our posts.

I just had some questions and think I found an issue, I came back here and my login info popped in the fields automatically, but I couldn’t log in.  Curious.

We did upgrade these forums at least once since then, but I don't think any posts were lost. You recall your old username or any text from your old posts?

Same name.

I had comments & questions about a multisite install. Probably some other stuff, but it’s been so long I’ve forgotten. I recall it was around the transition from v2 to v3.

Not a big deal to me, I was just wondering.

Probably better to think of me as being new around here than an old hand. ;)  I did run CiviCRM 3 in MAMP for a few months on my Apple mini, just to check it out but my Internet host was grossly underpowered so I didn’t evolve past checking out some of the most basic functions of CiviCRM.  When it came time for me to put it on the Internet I discovered my host was so underpowered that it just wouldn’t work out for me, so I turned my attention to other matters.

But now my host is a bit upgraded and I’ve reached the point where I need to send out batches of emails, so I figured it was time to spend a day to give it another whirl.

Thanks again.
