Disable View Link in Search Results Page

I've got a profile set up with custom data. In the search results list, all the fields with data appear. However, if you click the View link and look at the profile detail page, some data is missing. 

Results List: chapter name, president, chapter representatives 1-6
Detail View: chapter name, president, chapter representative 1

On this, and other Search Results lists, I'd like to disable the ability to view the detail page. Is this possible?

You may be able to edit a template to remove those links.

Or you could do it with jQuery.
