Scheduled emails gone missing
May 01, 2012, 04:52:24 am
This morning at 9am my users had some emails scheduled to run. Later on in the morning, they were all missing. The information all seems to be in the database and when I go back to last night's backup all the scheduled emails are showing

The missing emails aren't even showing as have run or anything - they're just not there.

Any ideas? In the mean time, I'm trying to dump the mail tables from the backup and import them into the live system, but keep failing because of key violations :(

Are you really using 4.0.2?  Why no upgrade to 4.0.8?  Last revision in a series is generally the most stable.
Try CiviTeacher: the online video tutorial CiviCRM learning library.

Upgrade is in the pipeline, but we need a couple of other things in place first - including a stable website, a move to a new server and a support contract with the client.

In the end I took the data from the email tables from the previous backup and replaced it into the live system. Worked. Just don't know what the client did to mess it up in the first place
