CiviSchool Reports etc.
May 01, 2012, 08:02:27 am
I installed CiviSchool onto a D6 CiviCRM 3.2.5 site now at the request of a client. I followed the steps here wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC32/CiviSchool+Installation precisely.

When we go to Schools--Reports it just goes to the regular Reports page and I don't see any School reports. Also appears that other functionality may be missing.

Is there something else that must done to active other pieces?

the reports link was just a shortcut for the folks at the school. So goes to the generic report listing link

I really want to upgrade the school module this summer to:

1. Be on 4.2
2. Be CMS agnostic
3. Allow folks to do everything via the UI and no tweaks of the DB
4. Integrate some/all of coleman's stuff thats hes done with woolman

If your client can either help fund some of this or put a few developer / doc hours that would be great

Happy to help, although most of my work was done with webforms and CiviCase. We use two case types - one for tracking prospective students, and the other is for the enrollment application workflow.
Many schools have very particular needs that are hard to generalize, but I'm glad to contribute to the brainstorm.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
