Profiles/Registration not in Public View?

Why am I unable to see the page (It brings me to my main website / gives me an error when I hit this page)

http:// sample . com/? page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/profile/create&gid=10&reset=1

How can I make it public to all our website users, with all of the options for registration and everything there (i've set up the profiles, and it looks great in the admin panel, but it does not load for the user).

& yes, I'm using Wordpress with CiviCRM ready.

i assume u mean civi v4.1.2

not sure why it does not work on your version, but this works:

http://wordpress.demo.civicrm.org/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/profile/create&gid=1&reset=1

Hey, it doesn't work for me mate.

When I go to the page, it just loads the main page, but not the form.

Yeah the latest version of civic.

I am also unable to use the short-code, I wanted to display the profile for users to fill up.

[civicrm component="profile" id="11" mode="live" action="create"]

That's correct right?

PS: I'm using Wordpress with a custom theme, must I add any script/codes to the theme to make CiviCRM viewable? (I tried with the default theme & I couldn't get the civicrm page to come up by using ?page=Civicrm.... )

u mean the page on wordpress.demo.civicrm.org? what browser are u using?

You might want to try a simple wordpress install with the default theme and settings and add civicrm to it and see how that goes

Hi Lobo,

I managed to get the problem solved by creating a blank page in Wordpress.

So instead of sample . com/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/profile/create&gid=11&reset=1

I created a blank page & it goes like this:
sample . com/blankpage/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/profile/create&gid=11&reset=1

Problem solved for now, its quite a bug for me I guess, it should be added to docs.

BUT it introduced me another problem:
I am unable to click on the date picker, see my site below:
http:// ...

What can I do

(I'll remove the link once the problem is solved)

dont know what blankpage is in a wordpress context. We dont seem to need it on our local/demo installs. If i had to guess there is some plugin doing things in a different way than what civi is expecting

Can you take a look at my date picker? Is it supposed to work like this?

Is there a workaround that I can do or anything? Or hard code?
