Creating some custom tokens
May 07, 2012, 10:22:16 pm
Ok so I'm not a programmer by trade and this is probably considered a dumb question by most but.....

I'm trying to write a token that will allow me to grab the contributions from xx date to xx date based on the search done from an advanced search. It allows you to choose from date and to date. How would I get those two values within the setValue function for the tokens?

Is the best way just to get it from the POST or is there a better way?  the form name is contribution_date_low and contribution_date_high for each field on that search form.
