Hi All,
I am a newbie of civiCRM and I am trying to apply CiviCRM in a Chinese charity. We are planning to start with the civiContribution to manage the contribution received. In the current charity website, we have a page to let user query the contribution details in a selected time period and also we have a weekly and monthly report.
My question is, how to customize these operation pages to make them looks like a part of the website and accessible for any of the web visitor?
From my understanding to the civiCRM, we can approach this by this step:
1. Create a profile to query the contribution and put the input we'd like to want the website visitor access
2. Customize the query page and query result page by the way mentioned in this page:

3. Create report and customize the report layout with the way mentioned in this link:
http://book.civicrm.org/developer/the-extensions-framework/reports
(BTW, the pictures in that page is not able be display to me, can anybody help to solve the problem?)

This is just my idea, can anybody help to check whether it is correct? Is there anything else I need to notice?
