Backup & Migrate Tool
May 10, 2012, 12:40:44 am
Hey there!

As i'm stuck on this matter already for several days, it would be great if you could help me out :)

I want to migrate my Civi to test if the backup works fine. I'm using the tool Backup&Migrate

I'm using the "Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location" guide of the civi-wiki as my knowledge source, to see which tables i don't have to copy.

In Backup&Migrate I have the possibility to "Ignore Tables" or "Ignore Data in Tables". Which one do I need?

And why isn't my target CiviCRM not working after the Migration :(

If you have any clues or experience, I would appreciate it!

You don't actually have to ignore anything when doing a migration. I would suggest you try it that way. Don't "ignore" any tables or data.

I would suggest you try to use phpMyAdmin to export your DB from the old server and then import into the new server.
