Profiles show up in search

Hi,

I have a big problem... all contacts/profiles show up when i Google names/emails that are in the civicrm database. This information should not appear in search engines.

Could someone please assist me how i can make all profiles to be private?

can you paste in the end of the url so we have some idea of the type of location these contacts are showing?

Are you using the default Name and Address profile? Profile = 1?

If so the default is that the Names and Country are searchable - not secure in my mind but haven't persuaded anyone to change it.

Go to Profile = Name and Address and edit the settings of First, Last, State, Country to not be public.

Thanks for your help. yes the URL end with "=1"
Where can i find " Profile = Name and Address"?

try this

/civicrm/admin/uf/group/field?reset=1&action=browse&gid=1

if it has fields set to "Public Pages" or whatever they are called, then set them to "User and User Admin Only   " or what
