Add privacy option in new contact

Hi all,
I want to add new privacy option in communication preferences.
Ex: do not contact
How am i doing this
Help me if anybody know about this.

Those fields are hard-wired columns in the contact table. Adding a custom field for Contacts (or just for Individuals) is probably the best approach. Then you can potentially create a custom version of the contact edit template which places that custom field in the same area as the other preferences.
